The Globe Hotel in Overton is a famous 17th Century Inn, renowned for our splendid facilities, exceptional chef, peaceful location, excellent real ales, warm welcome and colourful past. Our traditional inn, located in the Morecambe area of England's north/west offers a restaurant, six guest rooms, including a four poster room and caters for lunches, evening meals, parties, business functions.

Located at the gateway to the infamous Sunderland Point, The Globe Hotel is steeped in history and hospitality that has been around since the 1600's. The Globe was always a regular haunt for sailors and locals in the area and today extends that warmth and welcome to modern travellers, visitors and residents of the area alike. We are ideally located for exploring the coastal resort of Morecambe, the historic city of Lancaster and the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District. All these delights are easily accessible by the many road links that are nearby or the excellent public transport that is also conveniently close.

Morecambe is the closest town, just a short drive away and is famous for its fabulous sunsets and stunning views across the bay to the Lake District. Here you will find all the attractions of a traditional seaside town, with five miles of promenade ideal for a walk along the seafront to take in the views. The Promenade also features the now famous Bronzed Statue of Eric Morecambe.

Happy Mount Park is an ideal place for a picnic and in the summer brass bands play there. The park also boasts a miniature railway, paddling pool and crazy golf. Morecambe is a paradise for birdwatchers, and the seabird theme has been carried ashore in the innovative, award winning TERN public art project. There is also the vibrant Festival Market with a wide range of stalls for most shopping tastes, a whole range of seaside amusements and attractions galore.
